Llawnroc Hotel Wedding | Jane & Malc

9th June, 2014
Malcolm bless him decided to leave the planning of his wedding to his now beautiful bride Jane. And Jane working in a key role at The St.Enodoc Hotel knows a thing or two about quality, but having never been married before trusted her good friend Kate the hotel manager when she recommended us as wedding photographers (Thanks Kate). Actually I believe she said something along the lines of "Book them or I'm not coming!" So Jane trusted her friend and booked us blind, so I only got to meet her about five weeks ago at "The Llawnroc Hotel" where they were due to have their wedding reception. As soon as I walked into the hotel my mouth was watering (photographically speaking) with all the photo possibilities. Trust me when I say this hotel is a real hidden gem!

But on to the actual day. It started with Tams and I meeting the boys at Jane and Malc's home on the outskirts of Camelford (Our furthest North Cornwall wedding) for a little photo shoot to ease the boys into the day (I was warned there were a few bashful boys within the groomsman party - POPPY COCK!). We started with getting the boys into the suits before a few shots in front of Janner's (Best man) VW camper van that he restored. Oh, Sarah (Bridesmaid) your son was only holding an empty can for effect!!!

Then I left Tams with the boys to get a lift to the church while I headed on top the girls getting ready at Jane's parents house. Jane bought her beautiful gown from those lovely ladies at "Vu's Bridal" in Wadebridge and her flowers from "Flowers from Bruallen" in Delabole.

By the time the hair and make up were finished we didn't have very long before we made the short drive down the hill to the chocolate box pretty Lanteglos Church where the guests and Malcolm were patiently waiting (It TOTALLY was Jane's doing Malc!).

Now Tams and I are privileged enough to see many wedding ceremonies both civil and church, but I had to shake the vicars hand after hearing his service. You know sometimes when you meet people and they seem to really enjoy their job and you can see their joy, well this vicar did the best service I've heard in a long time.
After the ceremony we did the lions share of photos at the church before heading south to Gorran Haven to The Llawnroc Hotel.

On arrival I did a quick whip around the wedding breakfast room before Jane and Malc arrival and more photos out on the terrace.

After sampling the amazing food the Llawnroc supplied we had the speeches followed by a few photos in the lobby and then down to the beach for a few before heading back for the evening entertainment.

I have to say what a fantastic couple you are and the were certainly worth the wait (To meet up). I know we made new life long friends. You ROCK!!!

Love
