Carlyon Bay Hotel Wedding of Emily and Adam

Share on Facebook  Share on Twitter

4th October, 2012
We met the girls getting ready at the hotel in Emily's parents room, and this was the first time I've ever seem the father of the bride helping his daughter into her wedding dress, and he did a cracking job of it too!

Everything went nice and smoothly, and the girls were in their dresses in good time so we had plenty of time for photos on the baloney before leaving the room.

There are some quality wedding VW camper hire companies in the county such as Cornwall VW Wedding hire among others, but Emily and Adam were lucky enough to have access to their bestman's parents VDub camper, and bless them they made a cracking job of decorating it for Emily and Adam in their wedding colours of blue, so it would have been rude not to get some shots in it with Emily and her dad.

Then it was off to St.Mary's church in Par which has a lot of family history for Adam, for the ceremony. After talking through with Adam on our venue visit I got really excited about four very special ladies who were attending, and they were Emily and Adams four grandmothers. After doing weddings well into treble figures this was our first wedding to have four grandmothers in attendance.

Bless him, Adam and a very good friend had to make a ramp to be able to get two of the ladies into the church as they were wheelchair bound, but being as Adam is an architect it wasn't too hard for him to do the designs but man was it big! it was about 4 or 5 metres long.

After the family group photos Tams and I took them down to Charlestown for some couple photos.

Then we had another first, a white dove that followed us around the harbour.

We had time for just a couple more photos on the sea wall.

Before heading back to the hotel for the last few group photos and the speeches before heading off.

Tamsyn and I would like to wish Emily and Adam the very best for their future lives together. (See you when the stoke comes visiting!)

xx
